The catalog to an auction held in London by Christie, Manson & Woods on September 20, 1978.
Anna Rupert Biggs was the daughter of Charles Rupert, author of the book ‘Apostle Spoons’. Her collection contained a fine selection of London and other English spoons of the 16th and 17th centuries. A very uncommon catalog.
Softcover. 6″x9.5″, 93 lots, 30 pages + 26 black & white plates. Prices realized sheet included. Inscribed to noted silver scholar Gwendolyn Kelso.
